Saturday 16th March evening at the Ram Mandir, Nairobi Hanuman devotees gathered to recite the Hanuman Chalisa prayer. This prayer has much power to overcome grave times especially to keep calm and give strength for hardship, and in this case it was the recently concluded General Elections.
Since it was peaceful the community wanted to have a prayer to honor and give their thanks for the protection in the past recent weeks.
There was also the “aarti” performed which is a prayer where they light up small lamps and they are placed on a tray and it is taken around to spread the devotional light and spirit. We know look forward to prosperous times ahead for the country and its people.
