Nairobi crowds were treated to a favorite Diwali Dhamaka treat of Taz-Stereo Nation from the UK on Saturday 18th October at the Carnivore Simba Saloon by Rani Productions. The opening acts including a much improved and confident rap star Rohan Gandhi, girls dance group Desi Soul and international rapper AG Dolla with DJ and Music Producer Mentor Beats.
The emcee DJ Gupz also sang his famous song “kede vele” and his co-host Pooja Kotedia was charming. The show was co-sponsored by Red Bull, GoGo There, Global Watch and East FM and supported by Pride Drive, Yogesh Hair Saloon, Alkash, Anghiti, Go Places, Home Boyz and Royal Orchid.
Taz was sensational and his reputation of a great performer remains consistent. He also gave a surprise to the Nairobi crowd by launching and singing first time ever his own composition of the hit song “Malaika”. The audience loved him, took plenty of selfies, sang to his songs even if they were over 10 years, they were loyal and die-hard fans. The mood was of high energy and party for the long weekend, Rani Productions scored well.
