Indians marked their country’s 65th Republic Day celebrations last week. In Nairobi, Indian High Commissioner Sibabrata Tripathi hosted an event to celebrate the milestone at the India House on Monday last week. He congratulated Kenyans as the country marks 50 years of independence. “Since the 1920s Kenya and India have been in business and this relationship continues to strengthen,” he said.
Finally he gave a toast to President Uhuru Kenyatta and the dinner was declared open.
