It was indeed a night full of stars, from Amitabh Bachan, Ranbir Kapoor, Mumtaz, Rani Mukherjee and Kajol, the list was endless. The Fesitval of Friendship organized a beautiful Festival of Stars at the Aga Khan Complex on Saturday 7th December. It was hugely supported by DTB and Nakumatt Global Card. It was a house full of members of the FOF (Festival of Friendship) and fans of Bollywood, young and old. The hosts of the evening were East FM’s “Badmaash Company” stars, Shiksha Arora and Jamil Alibhai who made a spectacular entry by coming in an auto rickshaw to the famous song “Chennai Express“. Each table adorned a famous Bollywood dialogue and photo of a Film Star. There was a fun but a long Bollywood Bingo game which then quickly moved on to Sukhdev Virdee who is born and brought up in Nairobi and now is gaining popularity in India’s music scene. He launched his song for Kenya “Welcome” which received a lukewarm response both to lack of sound clarity to the audience at the back and because it was an alright song.
Kudos need to go to the team of FOF for creating a great experience and also respecting a minute of silence on the passing away of the world’s greatest hero, Nelson Mandela.
