The show was organized by Contact Network International Limited and sponsored by Starlit Insurance Brokers Limited, Mini Bakeries Limited of Supa Loaf and Xplico Insurance Limited and the event was hosted by East FM’s Kamal Kaur. Salim-Sulaiman are known to have produced and sung great hits and no doubt they are talented too, with a brilliant live band. They performed many of their hits such as “Shukraan Allah, Mar Jawan and the Song for Africa”. While the sound for the far back audience was good, closer to the stage there were moments where it was bouncing off between the concrete floor and the corrugated roof and too sharp. Salim has charm and a deep voice and looks like the innovator leaving you to listen out for more to come from their music basket.
