I just don’t get it, when a Customer walks into your shop and you are out of stock with the item he/she wants don’t you make effort to fix it? hold on to the customer? or you are ok with them moving on to another dealer? Yeah, I am talking to the so called Business Owners who flash around in their Prados but really don’t give a damn about how badly behaved their staff is. Or better yet, how badly behaved they are that their staff is embarrassed to say anything at all.
Now, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty of who is who! It seems like there are only two suppliers of Thuraya items in Kenya and they are enjoying this monopoly, if I missed you out then I really don’t think I missed anything because in order for you to be remarkable like an Apple you would have been seen and heard. Enough said! Back to the so-called dealers, we offered to pay extra and have it sent via DHL to Kenya to beat our deadline but nobody was interested and practically lazy to do anything about it. By the way one of the offices, the entire staff was browsing Facebook and it seemed like we walked in on their chat session.
I can go on with the lack of follow-up from their end, excuse of Eid and the corrupt Customs (common on we all know how things work here but you don’t need to live on it too) but I am wasting space here.
They don’t care about Sales or Customer Service, to hell with it, after all how many times is anybody going to buy a Thuraya? It is not a 2K Nokia, so forget it!
At this point I feel like opening a website http://www.ihatecustomerserviceinkenya.com and challenge Business owners and everybody to pull up their socks and get their act together! This is sheer lack of interest, laziness and I don’t give a damn what happens to my customer attitude which is going to sink their ship soon!
